KAYAKING ON THE WEST COAST

If you are thinking about kayaking, Drifter’s Cove is a great jump off point to a number of the central coast’s inlets, coves and beautiful sandy beaches.

You don’t have to go far to watch for sea birds, whales and other marine mammals, as well as bears. There are more than 100 ancient cultural sites in the region.

The best time for paddling along the Central Coast is from June to September however for the more-hardy adventurer one can paddle year-round – mind the wind though.

For those who would like to enjoy a self-guided tour we offer both single and tandem kayaks. There’s plenty of wildlife right at your doorstep in Lama Pass and beaches in the area.
